February sees worst A&E waits since records began

A&E waiting times in February were the worst since records began in 2009, according to new data published by StatsWales today.

The figures show that just 75.9% of A&E attendances were seen within the Welsh Government’s target period of four hours.

More than a million NHS staff in England are set to receive pay rises of over 6% over three years. The UK Government is expected to announce the deal later, following agreement between unions and ministers – with the biggest pay rises directed to staff on the lowest pay bands.
