Welsh Conservatives welcome government u-turn on all-seater policy

The UK Government has indicated that it could be about to shift its policy on safe standing at football matches, and according to reports is poised to commission a review of the policy which demands all-seater stadia in the top two tiers of the English Football league.

Warnings over ‘knock-on effect’ of meals on wheels cuts

The Older People’s Commissioner has issued a stark warning over the risk to older people because of cuts by local authorities to meals on wheels.

Currently half of all local authorities do not offer the service, with another two planning to axe it in October.
