Welsh Conservatives lead calls for plastics ban on Assembly Estate

Welsh Conservatives are spearheading calls to ban single-use plastics across the National Assembly for Wales’ estate.

In a letter addressed to the Presiding Officer, David Melding AM – the Shadow Secretary for the Environment - has called on the Assembly Commission to:

Welsh Conservative success as 10% park home levy to be reduced

The Welsh Government is to introduce a gradual reduction in the charge on the sale of park homes.


Currently park home residents are required to pay up to a 10% commission to the site owner – a charge which was last reviewed in 1983, when it was brought down from 15%.
