NHS documents: ‘Lying Labour produces another dodgy dossier’

Commenting, Angela Burns AM, the Shadow Minister for Health, said:

“We know that Labour has a history of peddling dodgy dossiers, and it seems that this latest set of papers is nothing more than reports on trade negotiations over medicines and equipment, which we buy from many countries,, including the US.

“The files have been, so it appears, in the public domain for about six weeks, and do not back up Labour’s often-repeated and always disproved claims about the sale of our NHS.

“That Labour has been reduced to peddling these documents as some form of exposé shows how concerned it is about a Conservative-majority Government and its commitment to provide our NHS with record levels of funding, a recruitment and training drive to bring 20,000 more nurses into our NHS, and our manifesto promise to build 40 new hospitals across the United Kingdom, as well as investing in many more hospital upgrades.”
