Chris Davies MP

Member of Parliament for Brecon and Radnorshire

Chris was born and brought up in the Swansea Valley and attended the local primary school and Morriston Comprehensive.

For twenty years Chris worked as a rural Auctioneer and Estate Agent including time working for a Housing Association and running his own small business. Today Chris manages one of Mid Wales’s largest mixed veterinary practices based in Hay-on-Wye.

Chris is married to Liz, a therapeutic radiographer at Velindre NHS cancer hospital, and they have two young daughters. They live in Glasbury-on-Wye and are heavily involved within the local community. 

Chris regularly puts his auctioneering skills to charitable use and has helped to raise thousands of pounds for charities such as the NSPCC, Barnardo’s, Ghurkha Welfare Trust, Help for Heroes, together with many community based organisations, school PTA’s and Church Groups. 

Chris’ professional and social activities have been entrenched within the rural and agricultural communities of the area and he has been a leading campaigner and organiser on rural issues for many years. Chris has a very well known voice, being a main ring commentator at many agricultural shows including the Royal Welsh Show at Builth Wells. 

Chris has come into politics with a wealth of experience ready to fight our corner and bring a better deal for the people of Brecon & Radnorshire. 

Chris Davies was elected to Parliament for the Brecon and Radnorshire constituency in May 2015 with a majority of over 5,000 votes.

Glyn Davies MP

Glyn is a man of the Welsh countryside, born and bred on a family farm near the Montgomeryshire village of Castle Caereinion. He and his wife Bobbie live at Cil Farm, Berriew. They have four children and two grandchildren, Ffion and Darragh. When not campaigning hard in support of local issues, Glyn likes to relax by playing golf.Glyn’s Experience

Stephen was born in 1973 and grew up in Portfield Avenue, Haverfordwest. He attended Fenton Juniors and Tasker Milward School before studying at Bristol University where he graduated with a 1st in Politics.

Guto Bebb MP

Born at Wrexham in 1968, Guto has roots throughout north Wales with his family hailing from Bangor and Blaenau Ffestiniog. Having attended three primary schools Guto was educated at Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen and the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.

David Davies MP

Member of Parliament for Monmouth
After leaving school in 1988, David worked for the British Steel Corporation and joined the Territorial Army.Boredom took him abroad for several years, mainly to Australia and Asia. During this time he had a variety of jobs including grape picking, tobacco harvesting and running a backpackers hostel in a tourist resort in Queensland. He returned to join the family tea importing and shipping business in 1992.

Rt Hon David Jones MP

Member of Parliament for Clwyd West
Born in 1952, David was brought up in North Wales and educated at Ruabon Grammar School and University College, London. A solicitor by profession, he is senior partner of a practice based at Llandudno. He is married to Sara, a nurse, and has two sons. His interests include cars, travel and history. He is also a keen supporter of Liverpool Football Club.
