Rt Hon Alun Cairns MP

Alun Cairns was first elected as the Member of Parliament for the Vale of Glamorgan in May 2010.He lives in the constituency with his wife Emma, who runs her own small business, and with their son Henri, who attends the local Welsh primary school.  His father was a welder in British Steel and his mother was a shop-keeper.

Andrew RT Davies AM

Andrew Davies was born in Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan in 1968 and educated at Llanfair Primary School and St John’s. He became a partner in the family farming business based near Cowbridge. Andrew is a former Welsh delegate on the Council of the National Farmers’ Union. He was the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society’s Oxford Scholar in 2002.

Guto Bebb MP

Born at Wrexham in 1968, Guto has roots throughout north Wales with his family hailing from Bangor and Blaenau Ffestiniog. Having attended three primary schools Guto was educated at Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen and the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.

Rt Hon Stephen Crabb MP

Stephen was born in 1973 and grew up in Portfield Avenue, Haverfordwest. He attended Fenton Juniors and Tasker Milward School before studying at Bristol University where he graduated with a 1st in Politics.

Paul Davies AM

Paul was born in 1969 and grew up in Pontsian just outside Llandysul in the County of Ceredigion. He attended Tregroes Primary School and Llandysul Grammar School and after obtaining A Levels at Newcastle Emlyn Comprehensive School, he joined Lloyds Bank in 1987.

David Davies MP

Member of Parliament for Monmouth
After leaving school in 1988, David worked for the British Steel Corporation and joined the Territorial Army.Boredom took him abroad for several years, mainly to Australia and Asia. During this time he had a variety of jobs including grape picking, tobacco harvesting and running a backpackers hostel in a tourist resort in Queensland. He returned to join the family tea importing and shipping business in 1992.

Glyn Davies MP

Glyn is a man of the Welsh countryside, born and bred on a family farm near the Montgomeryshire village of Castle Caereinion. He and his wife Bobbie live at Cil Farm, Berriew. They have four children and two grandchildren, Ffion and Darragh. When not campaigning hard in support of local issues, Glyn likes to relax by playing golf.Glyn’s Experience

Angela Burns AM

Angela lives in Pembrokeshire with her husband and two young children and considers herself to be a countrywoman with a metropolitan heart. Angela was brought up in various countries throughout the world and when she left school her interest was caught by the world of business.

Nick Ramsay AM

Nick was born and bred locally and was educated at Croesyceiliog Comprehensive School.  He went on to study at Durham and Cardiff Universities.  After a spell in the private sector and working as a political advisor, Nick was elected to Monmouthshire County Council in 2004 for the ward of Mardy near Abergavenny.  In his role as a local councillor, Nick was involved in numerous campaigns supporting residents and standing up for local people.

Darren Millar AM

Darren was elected to the National Assembly for Wales in May 2007.  He currently serves on the opposition front bench as Shadow Minister for Health and Social Services, chairs the Assembly's influential Public Accounts Committee and sits as a member of the Health and Well-being Committee.  Darren also Chairs the Cross Party Group on Faith, and the Cross Party Group on the Armed Forces and Cadets, both of which he is a founder member.
